KUALA LUMPUR: Sebuah makmal untuk menentusahkan unsur nadir bumi bukan radioaktif (NR-REE) akan beroperasi di Simpang Pulai, Perak bulan depan sekali gus peserta industri tidak perlu lagi menghantarnya ke luar negara.
Menteri Besar Perak, Datuk Seri Saarani Mohamad, berkata operasi makmal berkenaan menunjukkan negara tidak perlu lagi bergantung kepada kepakaran luar untuk menentusahkan NR-REE itu.
Katanya pengoperasian makmal itu dikenali sebagai Terra Mineral Lab.
IPOH: Three students have been awarded scholarships under the Perak Corporate Leadership Apprentice Scheme (CLAS) by MB Inc. Perak.
The recipients are Firas Firdaus Izhar Abadi and Jasneek Kaur Suwaran Singh, both from Universiti Malaya (UM) and Mathurambiga Maniom from Universiti Malaysia Pahang Al-Sultan Abdullah.
IPOH: Perak state government is working on implementing the proposal to make the Kelumpang flower motif as the official identity for Perak batik.
The Kelumpang flower, which holds historical and cultural significance for the state of Perak, is set to become the cornerstone in developing a unique and easily recognizable batik identity.
This initiative was presented during a session by MB Inc (Perak) with the Malaysian Handicraft Development Corporation (PKKM) Perak to the State Executive Council members.
GOPENG (Oct 3): The state government, through the Perak Menteri Besar Incorporated (MB Inc), has established a mineral analysis lab — the Terra Mineral Lab (TML) Sdn Bhd, and the Centre of Excellence (COE) for Mineral Research at Persiaran Teknologi Gopeng here, since September 2024.
