Menteri Besar Incorporated (Perak) has been recognized once again through its subsidiary, Amanjaya Global Sdn. Bhd., which has been awarded the
Best Licensee for the Radioactive Material Category (Control VI) for 2021-2023 by the Atomic Energy Department (Atom Malaysia).
Chief Executive Officer of MB Inc. Perak, Anuar Zainal Abidin, stated that this is the second time MB Inc. has received the award, following recognition for 2018-2020.
“This award is based on the excellent management of the Repository Site in Mukim Belanja by Amanjaya Global Sdn. Bhd. MB Inc. Perak is the only licensee from Perak selected from over 1,810 licensees nationwide.
“We hope this award will inspire other State Government-Linked Companies (GLCs) to continue contributing to the development and excellence of Perak,” he said in a statement today.
The award ceremony took place in conjunction with the Atomic Energy Department’s 2024 Technical Symposium themed “3S Empowerment Right Today, Better Tomorrow,” officiated by Minister of Science, Technology and Innovation (MOSTI), Chang Lih Kang, recently.
Senior Manager of Amanjaya Global Sdn. Bhd., Ts. Haji Zul Helmi Ghazali, received the award from Director-General of the Atomic Energy Department, Noraishah Pungut.
This award was evaluated based on excellent radiation safety management, efficient radiological monitoring, and community initiatives such as CSR and radiation safety awareness.
